Summary

The VF 610 is a high output visible laser designed to locate and identify faults in fiber optic cables. This red laser is also useful when identifying breaks in jumper cables, patch panels and other cable splice areas.

The VF 610 visual fault locator may be used within the OTDR “dead zone” to identify breaks and faults in the fiber. This device can be used to check link continuity on multi mode or single mode networks with fiber runs up to 5km in length.

This compact instrument includes a 2Hz modulation feature to enhance the identification of problem areas. A 3V CR2 lithium battery providing over 1000 operations provides power to the VF 610.

The VF 610 comes with a 2.5mm universal adapter to accept SC, ST or FC. An additional 2.5mm to 1.25mm converter accessory is available. The unit comes in a padded single instrument carry case with belt loop.
